A larger desk can publish more, but each item is touched by fewer eyes. Purewin chose fewer items with more attention per item.
The desk's working hours
The desk reviews items during the publication's working hours. The working hours are the same as the platforms it reviews, with a 24-hour buffer for source verification. Items submitted outside working hours are queued and reviewed at the start of the next working day. Where an item requires urgent correction, the desk bypasses the queue and publishes a notice within the corrections-handling cadence described in the disclosure.
